A 2nd blitz tournament sets the intention to make this a regular event. Less players on this one, as the 1st congress benefited from good weather and setting chess back on the map after a long lock down. Players from clubs all over Manchester joined us, to win a share of the prize money and play some good chess.
Our top player Peter Mulleady won the open section, with our academy chess teacher Andrew Wilson in 2nd.
In the lower section our Junior members Alex got 1st and Edward came in 2nd.
