SWINTON & WORSLEY CHESS CLUB
Our club meets on Thursday evenings, after the academy from around 7.00pm at Fletcher Hall, Vicarage Road, Swinton M27 0WA.
We welcome players of all standards from beginner to Grandmaster. (we have a Grandmaster who is a member.) We are a very welcoming club. Junior and inexperienced players receive coaching, and we’re hoping to start coaching for more experienced players.
For the 2023/24 season we have teams in the 4NCL, Manchester, Bolton and South East Lancashire Summer League, so there is plenty of opportunities for match-play. We also have regular tournaments, some of which are ECF rated. Social players are also very welcome and we particularly welcome parents of junior players to start playing!
